Lights Out Math app for iPhone and iPad

Lights Out Math combines the classic "Lights Out" puzzle with the objective of turning off all the "lights" with basic arithmetic. As a puzzle is being solved, an unlimited number of hints may be provided by correctly answering math questions. This motivates the player to learn math while they are solving a fun but challenging puzzle, without any pressure to answer perfectly!

In Lights Out Math, selecting a square changes it and the surrounding squares. In two-color mode the lights toggle; in three-color mode the lights cycle through two "on" colors and one "off" color.

The settings screen allows the arithmetic grade levels to be selected. With "advanced" math problems the desired answer might be one of the operands. Also on the settings screen the key click sound may be disabled, and board creator mode may be entered.

Board creator mode allows puzzles to be created. When a puzzle with a valid solution is configured, it may be saved and played.
